The overall ‘Prismatic’ project was group effort which consisted of about six members all collaborating together and working on different aspects of the project. I solely focused on the On-Air Package elements by myself.
The goal was to utilise the graphic elements and motifs that we had established as a group and turn them into various media outputs. I wanted to bring the design we had put so much time and effort into so far to life. The outputs required to produce included, an ident, bumper, aswell as intro and exit animations.
I used a few programs in order to create the final product. I mainly used After Effects for the bulk of the compositions. However some elements were created in Premiere Pro then imported in. The biggest challenge was to create the moving glass effect on the various text elements. For this I used a free program called Spline where I painstakingly animated each and every element which needed this effect.
